Set it aside for a days that are few read it again. Put yourself in the shoes of an admissions officer: may be the essay interesting? Do the basic ideas flow logically? Does it reveal something in regards to the applicant? Will it be printed in the applicant’s own voice?

5. No repeats.

Everything you write in your application essay or statement that is personal not contradict virtually any element of your application–nor should it repeat it. This is simply not the accepted destination to list your awards or discuss your grades or test scores.

6. Answer the question being asked.

Don’t reuse a solution to a question that is similar another application.

A teacher or college counselor is your best resource. And before you send out it well, check, check again, and then triple check to be sure your essay is without any spelling or grammar errors.
